Does Santa visit a house that has no chimney?

It's getting really close to Christmas. I am sure the hustle and bustle of the holidays are weighing heavy on many of your hearts today. I want to encourage you to finish off the year with a focus on what really matters. It's not the presents, but the present that really counts.
Take today to focus on what is happening in your life right now. We cannot go back to yesterday and do a replay. We can't reach out to tomorrow and make any kind of change. You cannot change that which has not taken place. Get zoned into today.
Ask yourself, "How am I living today?"
Do you know how hard it is to get a picture of all of us together with normal faces?
At times, we get caught up in habitual living. I would like to challenge you to make a difference in somebody else's life today, more than you normally would. Someone who wouldn't normally receive any blessing from you, a person that may not even deserve it. DO something today that will make a positive difference in someone's life outside of yourself.
Offer to pay for the person in line behind you at Starbucks. Give someone a special compliment that you wouldn't normally speak with. Give someone an early Christmas present that is not on the list of people to which you must give a gift. Send an encouraging note to a coworker.
Live today well. It will be gone before we know it. We may or may not have another opportunity tomorrow..  By making a difference today in the life of another you will be filling their tank as well as your own.  I have never fully understood why joy is felt by the one who is giving. God's gift I suppose...One simply cannot give everything away. The more you give, the more you receive.
We want you all to know that the gifts and blessings that many of you have given us over the years have been such a blessing. I often struggle with expressing the feelings in a manner where you all understand just how thankful we are to have you as part of our lives. The path that we have taken to live in and minister here in Peru has been an adventure of huge proportions. We are honored to have you on the team. We are honored to be able to partner with you and make a difference in people lives on a daily basis.  It's like a perpetual blessings bank.  Thank you for blessing our family and ministry.
We could not be doing what we do without you.

Have the best Christmas season ever!
